SHIPPING AND DELIVERY FAQ

When will my order ship?

Many of our products are made-to-order, handcrafted, or sourced from specialty vendors. Estimated lead times are listed on each product page. Once your order ships, you'll receive tracking information via email.

Please note that delivery estimates are not guaranteed and may vary based on product availability, manufacturer schedules, weather, and carrier delays.


Do you offer White Glove Delivery?

Yes. Select furniture and oversized items are delivered via White Glove Delivery.

White Glove Delivery typically includes:

  • Delivery to your room of choice

  • Unpacking and inspection of your item

  • Basic assembly when required

  • Removal of packaging materials

A delivery specialist will contact you directly to schedule a convenient delivery appointment.


How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, and destination of your order.

Furniture Shipping: We offer $99 flat-rate shipping on furniture delivered to addresses within the contiguous United States.

Some products may qualify for free shipping promotions. Any applicable shipping charges will be displayed before you complete your purchase.


Why are some shipping costs higher than expected?

Many of the furnishings and décor items we offer are oversized, handcrafted, or require special handling. Shipping costs may include freight transportation, residential delivery services, or White Glove Delivery options to ensure your items arrive safely.


Can my order arrive in multiple shipments?

Yes. Items in the same order may ship separately if they come from different manufacturers or warehouses.

You will receive tracking information for each shipment as it becomes available.


How long does furniture delivery take?

Furniture delivery timelines vary by product.

  • In-stock items typically ship within 1–3 weeks.

  • Made-to-order and custom items may require several additional weeks for production.

  • White Glove Delivery appointments are scheduled after the item arrives at the local delivery hub.

Estimated lead times are shown on individual product pages whenever possible.


Do I need to be home for delivery?

For parcel deliveries, carriers may leave packages according to their delivery policies.

For freight, oversized, or White Glove deliveries, an adult (18+) must be present to accept and inspect the shipment.


What should I do when my order arrives?

Please inspect your items carefully upon delivery.

If you notice any visible damage:

  1. Note the damage on the delivery receipt before signing.

  2. Take photographs of the packaging and product.

  3. Contact purchasing@thefinish.co within 48 hours of delivery.

Prompt reporting allows us to work with the carrier and manufacturer to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.


What if my item arrives damaged?

While we take great care in selecting quality vendors and delivery partners, damage can occasionally occur during transit.

If your item arrives damaged, please email us at purchasing@thefinish.co within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Your order number

  • Photos of the damage

  • Photos of the packaging

We'll work with you to determine the best resolution.


Do you ship outside the United States?

At this time, we primarily ship within the continental United States.

For Alaska, Hawaii, or international shipping inquiries, please contact us before placing your order and we'll determine available options.


Can I change my shipping address after placing an order?

If your order has not yet shipped, we may be able to update your delivery address.

Please contact us as soon as possible at support@thefinish.co. Once an order has entered production or shipping, address changes may not be possible.


What happens if I miss my delivery appointment?

Missed freight or White Glove delivery appointments may result in additional carrier fees or rescheduling charges.

If you need to reschedule, please contact the delivery provider as soon as possible after they reach out to schedule your appointment.


In-store pickup

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at our shop at 293 Pequot Ave, Southport, CT. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 to 2 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions.
